USC Marshall China Research Group (CRG) Workshop (2019–)

China Research Group Doctoral Symposium (2021–)

I founded this annual doctoral symposium with several other doctoral students in 2021, and I continued to host it in 2022. This symposium is the first of its kind with the vision to provide opportunities for Ph.D. students and post-doctoral fellows to share their research on China-related topics and to build networks among young scholars. It has a focus on business-related studies while past participants have backgrounds in Economics, Political Science, Sociology, and various applied fields (e.g., finance, accounting, management, data science, marketing, law, and public policy). Over the past two years, 22 selected papers authored by doctoral students from 17 institutions around the world were presented.
